3 positions
Different adverbs and adverb phrases may fit "comfortably" in different places in a sentence: at the beginning, in the middle or at the end.
Some can go in all three positions:
- Recently, he was arrested.
- He was recently arrested.
- He was arrested recently.
- Unexpectedly, he was arrested.
- He was unexpectedly arrested.
- He was arrested unexpectedly.
